I've been really horrible at blogging and I do apologize. Actually, I think horrible isn't the correct word I should use. I don't want to give empty promises. But I do want to start small.

Good news: I'm back!

Bad news: I still lack my own computer and camera =(.

It's been way too long since I've written something on here. But at least it gives me a lot to tell you. A lot of changes happened from Spring to Fall. Bad and good things, but mostly good. I have pictures to help tell my story too so no worries. There are a lot but I'll just choose the ones I think fit the bill better.

And if anyone knows of an iPhone app for Blogger, please let me know. It'd be easier for me to update since I'm always on my phone.

spring update

Hope all of you beauties are doing great out there! I apologize again for the lack of updates. Not having a laptop of my own sucks ass. If you follow me on twitter, I update all the time lol.

It's Holy Week, which means Easter is this Sunday, which means I can buy makeup again! I gave up makeup shopping (among other things) for Lent. I am so surprised on how long I've gone without buying even a small tube of lipgloss. And it doesn't help that I've been watching all these damn haul vids. Yeah I know, super smart of me. But I love watching haul videos. At least I have four more days.

But CVS wants to test my willpower with $5 L'oreal products and Revlon BOGO FUCKING FREE! Just until April 3rd y'all, so get on that if you want new makeup and shizz.

Oh, and I have 3 months left to lose the weight I want before the Vegas bachelorette party. I've been doing my best to eat healthier, more veggies, less red meat, smaller portions and not eating past 9pm. It's too hard! But I'm motivated. And I bought a bathing suit top one size smaller so ha! And I've been playing tennis again. I've seriously missed playing tennis. Trust me when I say I suck at all sports, but that one. Just hitting that ball with a successful forehand is second nature to my body. Like I said the first night of tennis to my bff: "We're home!"

Once Easter arrives, I'll be going a bit makeup crazy. I purchased the Philosophy Purity Cleanser and I must say, I'm loving it so far. I'll put up a review of it next time.

Vegas, Betch!

It's already the end of January O_O. Where the hell did the time go!? I will ask this question numerous times throughout the upcoming months. I'm pretty sure you will too lol.

Just wanted to share my 3rd experience in Vegas. This time around, my niece and her husband were able to join us. The reason we went is because he's bound to be deployed anytime this year and they've never been to Vegas together. Here's a quick recap in pictures.

Stayed at the Rio and ate at the World Buffet once we arrived. You know you have to hit up a buffet at least once while you're in Vegas. We hit up two lol. The second one was the seafood buffet.

It's always a blast going to Vegas and mobbing everywhere we go. I'll be hitting up Vegas again in June with only titties and vajays for my girl's bachelorette porty. Can't wait for that shit! In the meantime, I'll be doing my best to save money and lose the weight I want to.

If anyone has any suggestions for exercising or healthy food recipes, please let me know. It's very hard for me to diet because I really love eating and cooking food. Help a shorty out!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! I hope all of you had a great time ringing in the new year with loved ones.

I have so many resolutions this year. One of them is keeping up with this blog. I've somehow forgotten I have the option to write out my emotions. I kept a lot of my emotions bottled up last year and that's another thing I need to change. Man, I'm gonna be working hard this year lol.

So here's to an improved me. I know I can't completely change who I am, but I can definitely work on the bad habits that I've collected along the way.

I never thought I'd ever go on a cruise to anywhere. My boyfriend's family loves taking trips every year, so they've been talking about going on a cruise for a while. They finally booked tickets this past summer for an October cruise to Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico for Jason and his mom's birthday. Oh. My. God. It was wooooooorth it! We had to drive to Long Beach since that's where the ship would depart from. We arrived in LB in the early morning so we decided to have breakfast at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. I'm craving for it now...

Surprisingly enough, Jayce knows how to hula hoop. And he's really good at it lol. We tried having a contest in the sporting good store...

I visited my niece and her husband in WA a couple of weeks ago since it's been a while since we've seen them. Her husband's in the Air Force and stationed up there. So four of my friends, including Lorraine and I, booked our flight for the 25th of June. It was a sad day to fly since both Farrah Fawcett and MJ passed away. Unfortunately as I said in my last post, I lost all my pictures. On the bright side, our friend brought his d-slr and there were other cameras on the trip.

After buying souvenirs, we headed to downtown Seattle where we shopped a little. I bought the head band you see me wearing in this pic. We were super tired.

The next day, we decided to just chill at the apartment and swim. Didn't really do much to be honest. After swimming, we all got ready to go clubbing. The place we went to is called Trinity. If you're ever in the Seattle area, go there! They play all types of different dance music. And I believe we were all drunk lol.

If you're a Twilight fan, you know very well where the story takes place. I could not visit Washington and not go to Forks! We've been talking about visiting the town for so long that Lorraine, Jessa and I were so freakin pumped to leave! The girls and I drove from my niece's place around 11am and arrived at Forks around 2:30pm. The drive to Forks is very scenic and very beautiful. I was getting dizzy from all the extra oxygen because of all the trees that surrounded the highway.

On your way to Forks, you literally pass through Port Angeles. It's a cute small town. This is where Edward and Bella had their first date. We wanted to have dinner here, but reservations were booked for the night =(

I'm finally putting up my LA/IMATS post. We left San Jose around 5:30AM since the youngins were so excited to leave. Arrived at Pico Rivera around noon and chilled until we had to get ready to pick Alvin up from LAX and go to Rage.

Happy May, everybody!

I'm currently at work right now, waiting to get off my shift.

I've been bad. I've been spending lol. Pictures will be up of all the things I've bought in the past month. And I've been eating out a lot with my bf and family. Someone totally jinxed me last month when he said that I would be sick for a whole month. It came true! I got sick during the week of my birthday, stayed that way for three weeks, got better, and now I'm sick again! It's worse than last time too. That's awesome.

My cousin decided to have an "Old People Party" for her 22nd birthday, which was a pretty kick ass theme btw. I knew my cousin does it big when it comes to dressing up for themed parties since she's done theater her whole life. So I figured I'd dress up like my lola a little bit, with the duster and errthang.

Baby powder helped my hair look gray. Oh wow it looks like I'm balding lol.

RuPaul's Drag Race/MAC VIVA GLAM Challenge

Aside from Blush being one of my favorite makeup competition shows (on Bravo, I think...), I recently found another one:

It's basically a competition to find America's next Drag Queen Superstar by having the contestants participate in weekly challenges.

This week's challenge was the MAC/VIVA GLAM CHALLENGE where contestants needed to film a commercial promoting MAC/VIVA GLAM and the purpose of it. We all know that 100% of the proceeds from MAC/VIVA GLAM go towards the MAC AIDS Fund and AIDS/HIV Awareness. I actually didn't know RuPaul was the first spokesmodel for MAC VIVA GLAM. With that said, the winner of the challenge was Ryan Ong Palao aka Ongina.

Ongina's commercial was about celebrating life and the judges found that very true. After hearing the announcement, Ongina broke into tears with the judges wondering why she was crying. She confessed she was living with aids for the past two years. She was afraid to say anything, especially on national tv, but since she won, Ongina decided the world needed to know. She also confessed that her parents were also in the dark with her disease.

RuPaul called Ongina an inspiration for her courage. She is exactly that.

This episode touched my heart. Two of my best friends are gay and if either one suddenly contracted something somehow and was scared to say anything due to peoples' judgements, I would want him to come to me for the love and support he needs.

And that also goes out to anyone I know. I'm always here if you need an ear, a shoulder, anything.

We just got back from Fry's Electronics and I told him that I couldn't find my cord for my camera. So he went ahead and bought a universal card reader so I can upload my shit. I wasn't even thinking about that lol. At least it can read 16 other memory cards so woohoo! I can take anyone's pictures from their camera, no matter what memory card it is. Mufasahaha!

Anycrap, I just wanted to share with you what I did for Valentine's day weekend. My bf was working on Friday the 13th, so luckily, FUZ landed on that day. We met up at my other bff's house to pre-fade and I said that I'd drive to the event.

My Hello Kitty order finally came in on Thursday. I wasn't as ecstatic as I thought I would be once I saw the black box on the kitchen table since I was fighting with my bf at the time. But I tried them on today and I must say, I am unhappy with two out of the four products I purchased. When I swatched whatever I bought online at the M.A.C. counter near my place, it looked good. But when I tried the lip stuff at home, they seemed off. Nice To Be Nice l/g is super sheer and just packs on glitter. Same with Cute-Ster l/s. Maybe it's just my lips? They're dark pigmented so maybe I'll try concealing them first.

I'm very easy to please when it comes to most things, so I'm kinda sad that I'm unsatisfied. I agreed with my bff that we'll just keep using the things we bought. Exchanging the l/g will be such a hassle, but it's my last resort. Fasho.

I'm planning a trip to SoCal in June for IMATS. So far, it'll be me, bff Lorraine, my cousin, and my boyfriend. Lorraine's man might come if his parents aren't doing anything that weekend for their 25th wedding anniversary. Yay, another roadtrip! It's bad enough that I have a makeup addiction. And now, I've re-discovered my addiction for dollz or online dressup games, especially Japanese or Korean ones. Gah!

Oh, and my boyfriend is helping me in finding a job. He recently told me about this agency that helps find babysitters for children with autism. I told him that I'd call first thing in the morning. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and whatnot. I've worked with kids before so I'm looking forward to it.

Ahh Valentine's Day. You come every year, and every year it's always hard to celebrate because schedules clash lol. I hate you, Valentine's Day! That's why I'm going to go out and drink!

Just kidding, I don't hate the holiday. Not really. Only when my boyfriend and I haven't reserved at a restaurant and we can't find anywhere to eat. Bleh. Anycrap, we decided to celebrate tomorrow since he's working the weekend. Do you know what that means?

One day while watching a makeup tutorial on youchoob, I noticed that the girl that was conducting the tutorial used one of her NYX jumbo eye pencils, but it was in a pot. So I searched how she got it that way. Low and behold, you can de-pot your JEPs! I linked my bff the vid and she wanted to check Michael's Crafts for the 5 gram plastic jars. We couldn't find any but instead we found a pack of 15 plastic containers in the paint aisle.

So much for resolutions. Haha just kidding.

I have been out of it since the last time I posted here, but I'm back so yay. My boyfriend got me sick so my attempt at making a Youtube video failed horribly since my nose would not stop running and I have this hideous cough. I'm not 100% well yet, but I'm getting there.

So here's my late late late Christmas presents/collective haul post.

Before I get to the goods, I just wanted to share with you what my boyfriend gave me for Christmas. I swear, every year he surprises me. And every year, he beats me at it! Lol I know it's not how much you spend on the person that counts, but the thought of it.

Thank the Lord!

I thought I had lost my Sephora gc forever, but they sent me a final email notification the other day and so I hopped onto the downstairs computer and printed that baby out! I was hoping I can use it towards a little Christmas present to myself, but alas, my boyfriend wants the medicated moisturizer that he hasn't used in two months so my gc will help pay for that. Maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't spend any money on myself until after Christmas, even if it's free money lol.

Oh, and I finally caved in into buying a bottle of UDPP. I'm still hating myself for losing my Too Faced Shadow Insurance a week after I just purchased it. But so far, I'm loving the primer. I notice though that my lids still crease a little bit, but I think that they're just oily and I have to live with it. At least the eyeshadow colors are super vibrant and they stay on forever. That's all that matters anyways.

I'm pretty much done with Christmas shopping. I just have four stores to hit up and I'll be finished. Ahhh 'tis the season for giving. I honestly love giving more than getting. I just wish I was rich so gifts wouldn't have limitations.

Thanksgiving

Gah! I am so late on this post. Sumimasen -bows-

Thanksgiving was awesome. I ate so much at my bf's aunt's house. Drank a little bit since they made margaritas (YUM!). We waited an hour to digest our food before heading to my grandma's place. I brought the biscuits I made and this time, I made sure I put cheese in there. Now they want them for Christmas again. We went back to his aunt's house to pick names for the Secret Santa his family does every year. I got an easy one bwahaha! Got home way before midnight to try to shop online. My bf bought an ergonomic keyboard and I, surprisingly, bought nothing.

Slept in for Black Friday. I'm pretty surprised I didn't go this year. But then again, I'm happy with myself lol. That means more money for gifts, which I'm not done with yet =X.

I love/hate money. Like, forreal.

TWILIGHT: Midnight Showing

I told myself I would try to religiously update. I also told myself that I would do it tomorrow. Then the next day. Then the day after that. So I basically lagged lol. I apologize.

Like Ms. Kimberly Tia, I am in no way a makeup artist. It's been a year and a few months since I've hooked myself into makeup and I'm sad to say that I'm still learning looks, techniques, etc. By posting my "looks", I'm just showcasing my lack of skills lol. I'm practicing, yo!

I did this look for my very first San Jose Sharks hockey game. I was wondering how to get the right shade of teal, so I used Rimmel's Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Denim Blue for the base and Milani's Atlantis. I built up the color and got the color I wanted. Yay for experimenting!

I'm loving my furry hat! (don't worry, it's faux). I used my newly acquired MAC e/s in Bottle Green. It's such a pretty color <3

That's it so far for my eye looks. Hopefully, I'll get better at applying makeup. I've been practicing with my boyfriend's sister since we go out a lot and she always asks me to do her makeup. She likes neutral looks, but I'm slowly convincing her to do colors haha. But for now, I try to do subtle smokey eyes for her.

Oh, and BTW, TWILIGHT comes out this Friday! Eeeeeeeeeek! I am super essited. I purchased the tickets already and I'm planning on buying the Cullen baseball tee for Thursday night. Yay Twilight!

Halloween 2008

October is such a hectic month for me. I know a handful of people that have birthdays in October, and one of them happens to be one of my besties: Lorraine. Her birthday is on the 28th, so she usually hosts a birthday/Halloween party. Every year we had a theme. This year's theme was vampires, except we'd be going out to the clubs rather than have a house party.

I decided to be one of the Cullens for this particular theme, although I didn't stay true to the book. In the Twilight universe, vampires don't have fangs. It makes it all the more scarier when they bite you and suck your blood. For the Cullen family, they consider themselves "vegetarian" since they don't drink human blood. That's also why their eyes are liquid gold or topaz. But when they're hungry, their eyes are black.

We went out twice for Lorraine's bday. First was Fuz. It's a gay club event that happens twice a month. I wanted to test out my vampire look. All I can say is, "What was I thinking?!"

For Halloween night, I decided to skip out on the red lipstick and used concealer under my eyes. I figured I wanted to be a pretty vampire lol.

NOV: TWILIGHT MONTH

I apologize for not keeping up with this blog. I somewhat keep forgetting I have this since I'm always checking on Xanga, but then again, I don't update my xanga either.

November is finally upon us. I've been waiting for this month ever since May. Not just because it means the holidays are just around the corner, but because Twilight the movie will finally hit theaters on the 21st! If Warner Bros. had not decided to push Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to next July, then I would've had to wait for Twilight to come out in December. And Lord knows I can wait no longer.

I was able to hook one of my bests into getting obsessed with the saga lol. She's now a "Twilighter" like me. I recently purchased the 2009 calendar, Eclipse in hardcover, Twilight in paperback/mass market, Twilight: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion, an Edward bookmark, and I also pre-ordered the soundtrack on iTunes, but right now, iTunes is pissing me off.

I also received an email from Hot Topic with the details of the Twilight Cast tour. Unfortunately, I would need to purchase the Twilight Tour tee in order to receive a wristband for access into the store. And I also have to be one of the first 500 customers to do so, in person, at the specific location, which is in SF. It's not so bad, but since I haven't received a time frame for Robert Pattinson's appearance, I would need to drive to SF in the morning when the mall opens. Eck. I can't bring a camera either. That sucks! I'm still going to anyways haha.

So far, my blog has been covering Twilight and everything related to it. I have purchased makeup products and I'll keep y'all updated with my youtube videos, as soon as I know how to spice up my blog lol. I'm new to blogger so bare with me.

Breaking Dawn Part Two

I finally finished reading the book a few weeks ago and I can truthfully say that I love it!

I know I said that it was interesting from the beginning to wherever I stopped (interesting is not even the best word I can use), but once I started up again, I honestly could not put the book down. I'm stuck just thinking about everything that happened, I can't even put to words on how much I love this book.

Stephenie Meyer really went to town when writing Breaking Dawn. With all the new developments, such as Bella's POV experience when changing (it was inevitable), Jacob's imprint, to the final confrontation, no wonder Breaking Dawn sold so many copies. But then again, there are the negative reviews. I understand what they're saying, since many Twilight fans, also known as "Twilighters", are used to Meyer's style, they weren't expecting the various outcomes. Honestly though, what good of a book would it be if you EXPECTED how everything would turn out? It would have been mundane and there would have been a "been there, done that" situation. Personally, I applaud Stephenie Meyer for having such a vivid imagination.

All in all, this book is a MUST READ. Especially since it's the last book in the Twilight Saga.

On a more depressing note, Midnight Sun, which is Twilight in Edward's POV (le sigh), is put on hold. Indefinitely. Screw whoever put up the partial manuscript without consent! YOU KILLED IT FOR EVERYONE!

Breaking Dawn

You must know about the Twilight phenomenon that has hit the internet starting in early Spring. I should have read the book back when it came out in 2003, but I was engulfed with other things, which actually escape my mind at the moment lol. Jason re-introduced me to the book earlier this year and BAM! I was in love all over again. Or was it more like obsessed?...

Once I finished the book in a couple of days, I breezed through New Moon and I wanted to start Eclipse so bad, but I realized that Breaking Dawn wouldn't come out until early August, so I savored every single word while reading the third book.

I bought Breaking Dawn on the third day of its release and I was eager to rush home and read through the night. But as I was reading into the third chapter, I realized this book was definitely going to be different from all the rest. I should've known, it's freakin' Stephenie Meyer writing it!

So now with all the new developments in the story so far, the biggest change I've read in a person is Bella. I feel that the changes that occurred with her were so surreal. I can only see her in a different light.

I still have the second half of the book to finish, so once I do, I'll write more of an intricate review.

Hello, random reader!

I thank you for stumbling onto my blog and it seems to be your lucky day! This is my first post and I have nothing to talk about lol. I guess I should just say that this blog will be full of makeup hauls, reviews, and possibly tutorials, and also a lot of random crap.
